The employer, not the student. Students cannot apply on their own behalf.
Associate / bachelor
After completing the first academic year, part-time only.
Master / PhD
No first-year requirement; part-time work is assessed more flexibly.

Verified through YÖK (Higher Education Council) records; the province of study is taken into account.
Prohibited sectors
Entertainment and domestic services are closed to students.
Scholarship holders
Türkiye Scholarships require YTB opinion; YÖK scholarships require YÖK opinion.

Can international students work in Turkey?

Yes. A student residence permit does not grant the right to work; a work permit obtained through the employer is mandatory. Unregistered work carries penalties for both student and employer.
